You may have seen the TV commercials decades ago for Hertz Car Rentals. People renting cars had the choice of Hertz or Not Exactly. We get to make choices every day for where to shop, where to eat, what to buy, and if you’re like me you’re looking for good old-fashioned service and a good deal too. Sometimes you get both and sometimes you get not exactly.
I got a call recently from a new buyer client that made me chuckle. Joe was sitting in another agents office at another real estate firm here in La Quinta and he had been shown how to use my website there to research Palm Springs area golf and country club communities and homes for sale. Here’s what Joe said:
“Sheri, I spent over a year working with another agent here in La Quinta but have yet to buy a property. As I sat in that agents office using your website to research properties I began to wonder why you weren’t my agent? Please feel free to contact me.”
Well, Joe is now using all of our resources guilt free and I believe he knows that Agents like myself that offer a lot of valuable resources (without obligation) are likely the agents that can make the overall buying experience easiest and the most profitable. So at the end of the day according to Joe there’s Sheri Dettman & Associates and Not Exactly.
