Our table of four sampled chicken piccata and a large bone-in veal parmesan entree that were both delicious. The spaghetti Bolognese could have used a bit more seasoning but was still tasty. Entree prices were very reasonable as was most of the wine list (no cocktails). The menu includes pasta, seafood, steak and chicken as well as a number of specials each evening.
Café Italia’s interior space is small but cozy – certainly nothing fancy, and they have a small patio located out front. On this Friday night the place was packed and people without reservations were turned away. Café Italia’s slogan is “all dinners include soup, salad and signing.”
