Christmas Eve Weather Photo From The Desert

The Los Angeles area got hammered with some unusually heavy rain this past week. Here in the desert we experienced light rain on and off Tuesday and then a decent amount of rain on Wednesday. We then woke up to sunny skies again on Thursday with snow up high in our local mountains. Looks like 70º F (21.1º C) today and a little warmer at 72º on Christmas Day.

My husband Bill took this photo from our neighborhood this morning where we just purchased a bank owned home that was a great opportunity.

70ºF and sunny on Christmas Eve in the desert!

I’ve been telling people it is a great time to buy here in the desert and we have invested in a great real estate opportunity ourselves!

This view is looking west towards the Santa Rosa Mountains in the foreground with the larger snow covered Mt. San Jacinto in the background.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays,
